Make Your Super Bowl Table the MVP

Game On

Hosting a Super Bowl party is the perfect opportunity to bring friends and family together for an unforgettable football evening, food, and fun. Let your table decor score extra points. The best part is that creating a championship Super Bowl table doesn’t have to cost much money. With some planning and team spirit, your Super Bowl party will win on and off the field!

Game Day Table Done Right

First, start with a field. I used Brown Kraft Paper Roll. Next, I measured the yard lines using 1” white duct tape. Last, I stenciled the yard numbers using  2-inch number stencils, white paint, or 2-inch number decals.  This created the base of the table.

Kick It Up A Notch

Many of my tables incorporate a table rod decorated according to the holiday or theme. For the Super Bowl table, I recreated the look of the field goals by using yellow pool noodles down the side rods. The Gameday Burlap Banners were strung against the wall and across the field goals. Finally, I attached these Football Lanterns to the top of each field goal post.

Big Game Prep

For the place settings, I started with green artificial grass square mats. If you are setting up a buffet table, I recommend running them next to one another down the center of the table. Next, I placed the Football-shaped disposable dinner plates. Side plates were the x and o’s of gameplay Football Dessert Plates. The utensils were black disposable silverware.

Striped to Perfection

Refs played a significant role in the table, much like in the games. I used ref-inspired Napkins, Cups, and Snack Bowls to utilize their infamous black and white stripe uniforms. Additionally, I repurposed some glass vases by attaching Black and white stripes of scrapbook paper and hanging a ref whistle. For added dimension, I placed artificial topiary balls on the vases.

Scatter wood-painted footballs across the table for more football-inspired fun. Everyone knows the Super Bowl game can be stressful. A valuable gift for your guests is these Foam Mini Football stress balls. For the table, I placed them in a large glass jar with green crinkle-cut paper shreds.

Game Day Bites

We all have our favorite game day bites, from chips to wings, sliders to nachos. Here are some of my favorite plant-based foods. For finger foods, I recommend using these Football flag wooden food picks.

The Final Play

Now that the game, TV commercials, and halftime show are over, it’s time to rally and clean up. Fortunately, almost everything on the table is disposable. And your Super Bowl tablescape will remain a standout highlight of the evening. Whether your team takes home the Lombardi trophy or not, the fun of gathering with friends to share food, laughter, and excitement is the real victory.

I’ve flagged almost everything I use on this Amazon List. I found the identical items at Party City, Hobby Lobby, Dollar Store, and Michael’s. Party City, as you know, is going out of business, but I’d check your local store. You could also get one of the Tailgate party decorations for 25, which is very reasonable.

Here’s to a winning Super Bowl table and an unforgettable Super Bowl Sunday—cheers to your MVP hosting skills! 🏈🏆
