G-Day Spring Game Go Dawgs

Who Let the Dawgs Out?

Yes, it’s spring, and yes we mean football. It’s crazy I know, but the G-Day game is one of the most highly anticipated events of the Spring in Athens because it gives die-hard Dawgs a chance to enter Sanford Stadium and see the Red and Black battle against each other. This game is usually a debut of all the newbies that will be taking the field come September as well as a way to see how plays have recovered from injuries, improved their skills, etc.

This game is no different than any ole gameday in Athens full of tailgating, dawg-calling, and a hopping nightlife. This game is free to anyone and everyone hoping to get a glimpse of the Dawgs at play and is equipped with a performance from the redcoats, a season hype video, and plenty of “drunk obnoxious Georgia fans”. Coming to a G-Day game is the perfect way to spend a spring day whether you have just gotten into UGA, been a student for a few years, have already graduated, or just a big fan, it is a great place to be and such a fun atmosphere.

Don’t forget to dress in your red and black. You can head over to the campus bookstore or any shop downtown and start stocking up.  Items are cheaper off-campus, but the bookstore, located right next to Sanford Stadium has an amazing selection of all things UGA.

And, check out our blog on Gameday attire for parents. Students, we’ve got you covered too. From Fanatics to game day tattoos from Inked by Dani to stadium compliant bags from SCORE, the Official Game Day Bag, we’ve got you covered. Take advantage of special savings by using the code HUH15.
