Get ready for Florida State Football.
There will be a throwback theme, a new coach and a lot of excitement on April 14 at 6 pm when our Seminoles play the SunTrust Garnet and Gold Spring Football Game presented by Kia in Doak Campbell Stadium. This will be our first look at Florida State football under the new head coach, Willie Taggart. Fans are encouraged to join in the retro spirit as they pay homage to FSU football from past eras.
During half-time, there will be an Alumni Game with many familiar names and faces and a few surprises. Tickets for students are free, $10 for general admission, and $55 for the Champions Club, though the latter is only $20 for those 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased at Seminoles.com in advance. All ticket sales on game day at the stadium will be cash only.
Postgame should be just as much fun with a free concert featuring Salt-N-Pepa, Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, and fireworks. Concert field passes are $20.
Wear your garnet and gold, by all means, but try to bring a bit of retro twist to it to go with the throwback theme.
Don’t forget to dress in your Gators attire. Check out the campus bookstore or off campus. We recommend the collection from LifeisGood.
