Showing the Love
Next month, I’m having my friends over for a Galentine’s Day celebration. My Valentine’s Day table decor became the central focus. For one, I love having my house decorated. And, I wanted something that was warm, loving & joyful. The theme is boho chic.
Boho Chic Galentine’s
The color scheme for my Valentine’s Day table decor is rose gold, pink, and white. Once I had my colors, I then planned out how I wanted the table to look. I love boho chic and my dining room table lends itself to that theme. Next, I looked at what I already had and started adding items. I love shopping on Etsy as well as HomeGoods, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby and Amazon. The total investment came to about $80. Some of the items listed below I already own.
Rose Gold Wooden Textured Plate Charger – $15.49
Rose Gold Metal Napkin Rings – $6.49 for 4
Gold Cutlery Silverware Set – $39.58
For place settings, I used the rose gold plate chargers and napkin rings, and the dishes I have for special occasions. I did buy gold cutlery as I felt with my plates, it tied in well. Additionally, I used my wine glasses.

How I Put It Together
I’ve had the large artificial floral vase in the center of my table for years. It was purchased from HomeGoods. On a recent trip to their store, I saw similar ones. For my Galentine’s Day table decor, I cut the silk flowers from my peony silk flowers bouquet and added them, giving the white florals some color.
Using twine, I tied strands of the white flower bush to the Lamb’s Ear and wrapped it around the vase. I then added in the various flower embellishments I had purchased. And, if you look back at my holiday table decor, you will see that I reused the mini string lights made for wine bottles.
The rose gold heart-shaped ornaments were placed in a heart-shaped Rae Dunn Cat Mom dish bowl I received as a birthday present a few years ago. Finally, I scattered on the pink and white felt hearts that I had purchased years ago. I love being able to use items repeatedly adding in only a few new items.
Let There Be Cake… Well Cookies
Of course, I’ve got my menu ready and some great gift suggestions!
Hope I’ve inspired you to decorate and celebrate. We can use all the love we can get ❤
