Sports – 2021 Version
I can’t believe it’s been a year since the NCAA March Madness 2020 was canceled, with professional sports following behind. Thankfully, this year March Madness is back, MLB Spring Training has kicked off and word is college football will welcome full attendance. I’m sure I speak for many others when I say I’m thrilled! It’s almost as if we are getting back to our new “normal.”
For those that follow me, I’m sure you know this detail, but for those new to the blog, HaveUHeard that I’m a HUGE Florida Gator fan? My family consists of 13 Gator grads representing three generations. We have seen the orange and blue gameday gear trends change over the years, but when you put the colors together, you instantly feel transported to the Swamp. Provided the Gators make it to the tournament this year, I am ready with my Gator gear.
Now, another Florida sport – Spring Training! I have been a big New York Yankee fan for most of my life. Each year I try to make it to a Spring training game with my family. We love the fact that supporting the Yankees is just a quick drive away, rather than having to hop on a plane to the Bronx. Tickets to the games this year are a little more expensive than usual since they are limiting fans in the stands, but you can still grab some seats through StubHub.
My Favorite Places to Grab Fan Gear
And then there is football. With the NCAA announcing that it is likely college football will return with full stands next year along with basketball currently on the schedule with limited fans, it seems like live events are returning soon. I meet some college friends for a game every year so I’m definitely looking forward to resuming that tradition. Of course, that means it’s time to upgrade your sports wardrobe.
Fanatics: the most variety and the best in authentic clothing, accessories, and fan gear. They carry brands such as Jordan, Vineyard Vines, Columbia & much more. Plus, not only do they carry apparel, but they also have anything you need to have the ultimate tailgate including, tents, tables, games, and more.
American Eagle: They have recently released their tailgate section with a variety of sports apparel with a trendy twist. Great for all ages too!
Kohls: See if your team is sold here as they have some affordably-priced college and professional sports attire.
Lily Pulitzer: This one is mostly for those who are fans of the brand. If you are, you’ll definitely love their orange line.
Jane Hudson: This is an online-only boutique that I have grown to love. HaveUHeard that the brand is by Kristin Celano, who is an avid fan at UF! It was her mission to elevate the basics for game day, and she did a great job.
